Attorney Kevin Cox of Lakeland, FL; ethical troll

The state of Florida presented Kevin Poston Cox with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Law.

FYI: Nova Southeastern is ranked as the 166th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The State Bar of Florida found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in sexual conduct with a client that exploited the lawyer-client relationship
• Represented a client when his exercise of independent professional judgment in the representation of that client could have been materially limited by his own interest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2020) Kevin practices with the Law Office of Kevin P. Cox at 1979 East Edgewood Drive in Lakeland, Florida.
