Attorney Barry Halpern of Phoenix, AZ; ethical troll

The state of Florida presented Barry Leonard Halpern with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law.

The State Bar of Florida found Barry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Violated Rules regulating trust accounts

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Barry by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Barry and his firm fail to mention the aforementioned misconduct on their self-serving website at www.swlaw.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal said information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. April 2020) Barry practices with Snell & Wilmer at 400 East Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona.
