Attorney Marquin Rinard of Fort Myers, FL; ethical gnome

The state of Florida presented Marquin Steven Rinard with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law.

The State Bar of Florida found Marquin guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Marquin!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Avi by gifting him with a complimentary 91-day suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Marquin fails to mention the above misconduct on his self-serving website at www.ringsmuthlaw.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal said information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2020) Marquin practices at 4434 Sheridan Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida.
