Attorney Lawrence Castle of Canby, OR; slacker, loser

The State of Oregon presented Lawrence A. Castle with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Williamette University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Failed to inform his client
  • Failed to take any action to address the court’s concerns
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to explain a matter to permit a client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Larry fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.attorneycoos.com. Apparently, Larry decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. April 2020) Larry practices with Lawrence A. Castle Attorney at Law at 174 NW 3rd Avenue in Canby, Oregon.
