Attorney Angie Mayfield of Clanton, AL; ethical goblin

The state of Alabama presented Angie Avery Mayfield with a law license in 2006 after she graduated from Faulkner University School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Angie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to so act

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Angie by gifting her with a complimentary 91-day suspension of her law license.
