Judge Beth Myers of Cincinnati, OH; incompetent boob

The state of Ohio provided Beth A. Myers with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Law.

In one matter, Judge Myers was assigned along with two other judges of the 1^st District Court of Appeals in Cincinnati to hear an appeal of a case presided over by Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Kurt Kissinger wherein he found Michael Brant guilty of leaving the scene of an accident.

In a display of utter incompetence and ignorance, Judge Myers authored a decision upholding Judge Kissinger’s ridiculous conviction of Mr. Bryant. It was a 2-1 decision with Judge Marilyn Zayas exhibiting competence in ruling to reverse Kissinger’s conviction.

Subsequently, Mr. Bryant and his attorney then appealed the ridiculous ruling written by Judge Myers to the Ohio Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court reversed both Kissinger and the First District Court of Appeals and in doing so said in part.

“Ohio law does not require all motor vehicle accidents be reported to police, and the current statute is unclear how long a driver must wait when a police officer is not at the scene of the accident.”

Of course, Judge Myers doesn’t much give a damn how many times her asinine rulings are reversed by the Supreme Court since she’s aware that no judge in Ohio has ever been removed from the bench for being a moron. Moreover, the cost of this unnecessary appeal was borne by the overtaxed citizens of Ohio, meaning it didn’t cost Myers anything.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Myers continues to sit as a 1^st District Court of Appeal Judge in Cincinnati, Ohio.
