Today’s “Bullshit ” Award Winner
Sen. Charles Ernest “Chuck” Grassley from Iowa has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for 53years (ca. 1959 to 2012). Prior to duping the voters in Iowa to elect him as a US Senator in 1981, he was a US Congressman from 1975 to 1981, and he previously was an Iowa state legislator from 1959 to 1974. At age 79 it appears that the only way Chuck’s snout will be removed from the public trough is when he’s removed from the U.S. Senate in a wooden box.
Recently President Obama commented on the possibility that the U.S. Surpeme Court might rule that Obamacare is unconstitutional. Earnest seized on the opportunity to attack Obama for his comments about possible judicial activism.
Ernest tweeted that his constituents wanted to know why he was not outraged by the president’s “attack” on the court. Ernest said be
 cause the American people “r not stupid as this x prof of con law.” It appears as though Ernest is determined to be cast as the lead in any future remakes of “Ernest Scared Stupid” or “Ernest goes to Camp,” meaning he would be Jim Varney’s replacement.
For a moron (my apologies to morons) of Grassley’s standing to call Obama stupid takes hyperbole (BS) to new and as yet unseen levels. FYI: This is Chuck's second BS Award. The first once can be found at the URL at the end of this article.
Congrats Chuck; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s most accomplished Bullshitters; you are far too humble.
