Attorney Laura Gillis of Phoenix, AZ; lying convict

The state of Arizona presented Laura Gillis with a law license in 2001 after she graduated from Loyola University School of Law in Los Angeles.

The Arizona State Bar found Laura guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Made false statement of a material fact
  • Falsely stated to police she was on the call with her client and the real estate agent at time client had violated an order of protection
  • Pled guilty to one count of providing false information to law enforcement, a class 1 misdemeanor
  • Selfish or dishonest motive involving illegal conduct was present

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Laura by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Laura fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.divorcephoenixarizona.com.  Apparently, Laura decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that she would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Davey practices with the Law Office of Laura Gillis at 20 East Thomas Road in Phoenix, Arizona.

CAUTION: Laura does not carry legal malpractice insurance
