Judge Linda Rogers of Albuquerque, NM; ethical goblin

The state of New Mexico presented Linda S. Rogers with a law license in 1990 after she graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Gov. Susana Martinez was duped into appointing Linda as Bernalillo County Metropolitan Judge in 2006. Linda didn’t get the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Albuquerque area. She received it because she had proved to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

FYI: Michelle has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the twenty-nine (29) years since graduating from the University of Colorado School of Law. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Albuquerque area was about to offer he a good paying job.

During the 2018 judicial evaluation process, Linda received the following ratings by her peers in the legal community and court staff.

  • Failed to consistently display fairness/impartiality toward each side of a case
  • Failed to always be courteous to all court participants
  • Failed to demonstrate an appropriate demeanor on the bench

Unfortunately, for the good folks residing in the greater Albuquerque area, this is exactly what you can expect when someone is appointed because they are a trusted political hack.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Linda continues to sit as a Bernalillo County Metropolitan Judge in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
