Attorney James Coston of Chicago; cheating loser

The state of Illinois presented James E. Coston with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, Jimmy represented a client in a debt collection matter wherein he collected $20,933 on the client’s behalf but did not pay over those funds to the client. After the client terminated Jimmy, he continued to collect funds on the client’s behalf but not remit them to the client.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2020), Jimmy practices with Rademacher Inc. at 1650 North Paulina in Chicago, Illinois.
