Attorney Jeffrey Schwaber of Rockville, MD; ethical troll

The state of Maryland presented Jeffrey M. Schwaber with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Georgetown University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest between two firm clients
• Failed to properly supervise several junior attorneys
• Exacerbated conflict of interest by taking positions for the benefit of one client and to the detriment of another

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Jeff and his firm fails to mention the above misconduct on their self-serving website at www.steinsperling.com.   Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Jeff practices with Stein, Sperling, Bennett, De Jong, Driscoll PC at 25 West Middle Lane in Rockville, Maryland.
