Attorney Kevin James of Baton Rouge, LA; ethical gremlin

The state of Louisiana presented Kevin Lovell James with a law license in 2015 after he graduated from Southern University School of Law.

FYI: Southern University is ranked as the 174th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Mismanaged client trust account
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Kevin!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Kevin fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.kljlawfirm.org. Apparently, Kevin decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. April 2020) Kevin practices with Kevin L. James & Associates at 11834 Market Place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
