The state of Louisiana presented Ernest L. Johnson with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Southern University School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Ernie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Made false statement of fact or law to a tribunal
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to correct false statement of material fact previously made to a tribunal
• Failed to disclose legal authority to be directly contrary to his client’s position

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Ernie by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
