Attorney Larry D. Jefferson of Monroe, LA; Il Duce Wannabee, moron

 
FYI: Il Duce is none other than the late Italian dictator Benito Mussolini who partnered up with Hitler during World War II.
 
The state of Louisiana presented Larry D. Jefferson with a law license in 1980.
 
In November 1990, Larry Jefferson succeeded in duping the voters into electing him as a Division A Judge for the Monroe City Court.
 
During his tenure on the bench, the Judiciary Commission of Louisiana filed misconduct charges against Larry. That misconduct consisted of the following:
  1. Abuse of his contempt power on several occasions
  2. Banned a prosecutor from his courtroom and then dismissed 41 cases when the same prosecutor failed to appear
  3. Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law by participating in a case as counsel for four years after becoming a judge
  4. Deliberately disobeyed orders of the administrative judge
Subsequently, the Louisiana Supreme Court found that Larry’s deplorable temperament and demeanor, along with his persistent pattern of reckless, disrespectful and injudicious behavior mandated that he removed from the bench.
 
There is no indication that Larry's law license was ever suspended or revoked, which further evidences that members of the Legal Industry are held to a lower standard of conduct then everyone else.
 
As we speak (ca. April 2012) Larry continues to practice lat at 600 Calypso Street in Monroe, Louisiana.
