Attorney Paul Bennett of Annapolis, MD; serial tax cheat

The state of Maryland presented Paul Vivian Bennett with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Consistently failed over number of years to timely pay Federal and State taxes
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Committed a criminal act

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Paulie fails to mention the above misconduct on his self-serving website at www.blawpc.com.   Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2020) Paulie practices with Bennett & Ellison PC at 2086 Generals Highway in Annapolis, Maryland.
