The state of Maryland presented Charles Boileau Bailey with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Georgetown University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to maintain complete attorney trust account records
• Improperly made cash withdrawals from attorney trust account
• Failed to remove earned fees from attorney trust account
• Failed to perform monthly reconciliations of attorney trust account
• Improperly transferred from his attorney trust account to his political campaign account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
