Attorney Dorothy J. Vaughn of Atlanta; Muammar Gadaffi Wannabee, idiot

 
The state of Georgia presented Dorothy J. Vaughn with a law license in 1974 after she graduated from Washington University in St. Louis.
 
For several years Dorothy sat as a judge on the State Court of Fulton County. While on the court, the Judicial Qualifications Commission found her guilty of the following misconduct:
  • Refused to set appeal bonds for two misdemeanor defendants when the law required her to do so
  • Forced a defendant to enter a plea of guilty in the absence of his attorney
  • Issued bench warrants for the arrest of two misdemeanor defendants when their had been late even though the defendants were present in court
It is painfully clear that Dorothy has no clue what the term due process means. Apparently she believes it is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the a.m.
 
As a consequence of her egregious misconduct, the Georgia Supreme Court ordered that Dorothy be removed from the bench.
 
As we speak (ca. April 2012) Dorothy practices law 4252 River Green in Atlanta.
