Attorney Guy D. Geleerd Jr. of Chicago; liar, repeat offender
The state of Illinois presented Guy Delson Geleerd Jr. with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from the John Marshall School of Law.
FYI: John Marshall is ranked as the 166th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.
The Disciplinary Commission found Guy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
Guy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree
In one matter, while representing a plaintiff in a Livingston County medical malpractice action, he filed affidavits and medical reports and made inaccurate statements in pleadings and before a court in relation to those affidavits and reports.
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Guy by gifting him with a complimentary censured.
Guy’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Guy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
As one would suspect, Guy fails to mention the misconduct alluded to above on his website at www.geleerdtriallaw.com. Apparently, Guy and his firm chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his and/or their future victim pool.
As we speak (ca. March 2020), Guy practices with Guy Delson Geleerd Jr. Trial Lawyer LLC at 180 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
