Attorney Catherine Rose Faughnan of Binghamton, NY; ethical goblin

The state of Florida presented Catherine Rose Faughnan with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from Florida Coastal University School of Law.  

FYI: Florida Coastal is ranked as the 168th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Cathy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Cathy greed to handle civil matter for a client pro bono [free]; however, she subsequently became ill and moved back to New York and thereby abandoned her client without taking any steps to protect the client’s interests.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Cathy by gifting her with a complimentary 3-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2020), Cathy practices at 12 Ardsley Road in Binghamton, New York.
