Attorney John Brewer of Phoenix; drunken convict

The state of Arizona presented John B. Brewer with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Pled guilty to Endangerment, a Class 6 Designated Felony, and Driving or Actual Physical Control While Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor, a Class 1 Misdemeanor
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Struck and damaged a fire sprinkler system; his blood alcohol concentration was .322 percent
  • Driving drunk in U-Haul truck that was not equipped with an ignition interlock device which Brewer was required to use due to a previous misdemeanor DUI conviction

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Johnny practices at 5500 North 24th Street in Phoenix, Arizona.
