The state of Washington presented Thao Hoang Nguyen with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from Seattle University School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Thao guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to maintain required trust account records
• Failed to assure that measures were in effect to assure that the conduct of nonlawyers was compatible with Rajiv’s professional obligations pursuant to the Rules of Professional Conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Thao by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Thao practices with the Nguyen Law Firm PLLC at 31 Andover Park East in Tukwila, Washington.
