Attorney Stephen Williams of Largo, MD; lying loser

The state of Maryland presented Stephen Jerome Williams with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to accurately list all his client’s assets on Bankruptcy Schedules
• Falsely representing to the court that he was in possession of supporting documents
• Failed to timely surrender client papers and property upon termination
• Contacted former client after client employed another attorney and did so without obtaining consent of the newly retained counsel
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2020) Stevie practices with S.J. Williams Associates LLC at 9500 Medical Center Street in Largo, Maryland.
