The state of Wisconsin provided David Moss with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from Marquette University School of Law.
The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

Engaged in 35 counts of misconduct involving 8 clients

Repeatedly took fees from clients and failing to perform the work for which he was hired

Failed to communicate with clients regarding the status of their matters, and failing to return fees and client files upon request

Failed to keep clients informed of status of matter

Failed to return unearned fees (cheater)

Failed to return client files upon request after termination

Charged client $1,000 flat fee to represent her in bankruptcy matter, but never filed a bankruptcy petition on her behalf

Despite never filing the bankruptcy petition for his client, Davey told her he had spent 10 hours on her case

Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

Accepted thousands in fees to pursue bankruptcy matters for numerous clients but never performed any services for them
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
