► Assistant Prosecutor Michael Cross of Collierville, TN; ethical troll

The state of Tennessee provided Donna Scott Davenport with a law license in 1986 after she graduated from the Nashville School of Law.

The Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct found Donna guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a judicial commissioner.

  • Presided over a hearing where the defendant was represented by an attorney who had recommended Mikey or a part time prosecutor position with the Town of Collierville
  • Prior to, during and after the hearing Mike failed to disclose his relationship with the attorney representing the claimant’s adversary who had recommended him for the part time prosecutor position
  • At the hearing Mikey dismissed the action upon his sponsoring attorney’s motion and awarded him $750 in attorney fees
  • Failed to disqualify himself from a matter when disqualification was mandated

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Board punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2020), Mikey is now employed as an Assistant Collierville Prosecutor in Collierville, Tennessee.
