Judge Donna Davenport of Murfreesboro, TN; ethical troll

The state of Tennessee provided Donna Scott Davenport with a law license in 1986 after she graduated from the Nashville School of Law.

The Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct found Donna guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with the law
  • During juvenile court hearing characterized father and his lawyer as “sneaky snakes” and connivers
  • Ordered transcript of hearing wherein she castigated father and his lawyer to be provided to the judge that would overseeing further proceedings in the matter with the obvious intent to poison the mind of said judge
  • Failed to promote public confidence in the impartiality of the judiciary
  • Failed to avoid impropriety or the appearance of impropriety
  • Failed to be patient and dignified when dealing with those appearing before her
  • Improperly made public statements that might be construed to affect the outcome of pending litigation

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Board punished Donna by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2020), Donna continues to sit as a Rutherford Juvenile Court judge in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
