Attorney Travis Sayre of Parkersburg, WV.; slacker, loser

The state of West Virginia presented Travis Christopher Sayre with a law license in 2011 after she graduated from the University of West Virginia School of Law.

The Lawyer Disciplinary Board found Travis guilty of the following misconduct

  • Failed to perfect appeal on client’s behalf prior to deadline passing
  • Neglected legal matter assigned to him
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to file timely appeal on client’s behalf that led to Supreme Court issuing show cause order
  • Exchanged messages of a sexual nature with his client
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the West Virginia Supreme Court punished Travis by gifting his with a complimentary 120-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2020), Travis practices at 3601 Emerson Avenue in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
