Attorney David Goldberg of Newton Center, MA; slacker, loser

The state of Massachusetts presented David S. Goldberg with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from the University of Miami School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to assure office staff’s conduct complied with attorney’s code of conduct
• Failed to seek the lawful objectives of his client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to properly file motion for continuance on client’s behalf
• Failed to appear at scheduled hearings on client’s behalf
• Jeopardized client’s Cavalry’s rights by causing the case to be settled on the day of the scheduled hearing
• Assisted nonlawyer in the illegal practice of law
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to make sure that conduct of non-legal staff is consistent with professional obligations

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As one would suspect, Davey fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his website at www.golawoffices.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients to assure that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2020) Davey practices with the Law Office of Goldberg & Oriel at 199 Wells Avenue in Newton Center, Massachusetts.
