Attorney Trent Henkelvig of Danville, IA; slacker, repeat offender

The state of Iowa presented Trent A. Henkelvig with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from Drake University School of Law.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Trent guilty of the following misconduct.

Trent’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Neglected client appellate matter
• Prior admonition for neglecting appellate matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Trent by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Trent fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.henkelviglaw.com. Apparently, he felt it necessary to conceal said relevant information from prospective clients in order to not limit his and his firm’s future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Trent practices with Henkelvig Law practices at 405 Trulaine Drive in Danville, Iowa.
