Attorney John Cameron of Medina, OH; ethical gnome

The state of Ohio presented John Brooks Cameron with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Ohio State University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly communicated with a person he knew to be represented by counsel
  • Knowingly made a false statement of fact or law to a tribunal
  • Failed to pay expert witness $7008.00 he owed for his preparation of a report
  • Displayed a dishonest and selfish motive
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Johnny.

As we speak (ca. November 2019) Johnny practices with John Brooks Cameron & Associates at 247 East Smith Road in Medina, Ohio.
