Attorney Mickey Larson of Sparta, MI; cheating slacker

The state of Michigan presented Mickey Sparta with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from the University of Michigan School of Law. 

The Kent County Hearing Panel #5 found Mickey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Committed acts of professional misconduct in his representation of a client in a drivers' license restoration matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Neglected legal mater entrusted to him
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to refund unearned portion of advance fee upon termination (cheater)
• Failed to act promptly in representing a client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Mickey by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license and was assessed costs of $804.00.  

As we speak (ca. January 2020), Mickey practices with the Mickey Larson Law Office at 192 East Division Street in Sparta, Michigan.
