Attorney R. Gary Sundell of Southfield, MI; cheating slacker

The state of Michigan presented R. Gary Sundell with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Wayne State University School of Law. 

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #6 found Gary guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Gary!)
• Neglected various legal matters entrusted to him
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to refund fees or deliver funds client entitled to receive (cheater)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to promptly comply with client information requests
• Failed to render candid advice to a client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
