Attorney Martin Aubin of New Brunswick, CAN; ethical troll

The Law Society of New Brunswick presented Marin Aubin with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Brunswick School of Law.

The New Brunswick Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Marty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to fulfill his obligation to meet the requirements of the Uniform Trust Account Rules
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Brian!)
  • Refused to provide signed Order and amount of $16,000 to another lawyer or to provide evidence that this amount was still in his trust fund
  • Made comments about another lawyer’s client that are against the tone that is appropriate for a professional communication coming from a lawyer

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand, a $4,000 fine and assessed costs of $3,500.00.

As we speak (ca. October 2019) Marty practices at 425 Avenue Acadie in Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada.
