Solicitor Wong Chak Lam of Hong Kong; ethical gremlin

The Law Society of Hong Kong presented Wong Chak Lam with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Hong Kong School of Law.

The Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Wong Chak Lam guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Expressed no remorse in breaching an undertaking (Up yours, said Wong!)
• Failed to honor undertaking to send to the vendor’s solicitors the conveyancing documents as stated in the letter from the vendors within the stipulated time which was imposed on him in said letter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Wong Chak Lam by gifting him with a complimentary censure and a fine of HK$20,000.00 ($2,555.00 US).

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Wong Chak Lam practices with OR & Co, Katherine Y.W. at 19 Des Voeux Road Central, Hong, Kong.
