Attorney John Harris of Lyons, IL; convicted felon

The state of Illinois presented John Frank Harris with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology School of Law.

FYI: Illinois Institute of Technology is ranked as the 149th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Disciplinary Commission found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Pled guilty to conspiracy to commit solicitation and was sentenced to ten days in prison and two years of supervised release
  • Conspired with former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich to solicit and demand something of personal value for Governor Blagojevich in exchange for the Governor exercising his statutory duty to appoint a United States Senator
  • Sentenced to 10 days in prison, two years of supervised release, and $1,000 fine

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (October 2019), Johnny practices at 4226 Lawndale Avenue in Lyons, Illinois.

CAUTION: Johnny does not carry legal malpractice insurance
