Attorney Gary Apps of Kalamazoo, MI; ethical goblin

The state of Michigan provided Gary E. Apps with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Wayne State University School of Law. The state of New York provided Gary with a law license in 2000.

County Hearing Panel #1 found Gary guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Committed several acts of misconduct when hired to pursue collection of past due rent for several rental homes that his client managed
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to promptly notify client when funds that client has an interest in was received
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary 179-day suspension of his law license. He was also ordered to pay restitution of $600 to his client (victim).

As we speak, (ca. February 2020), Gary practices at 813 West South Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
