Attorney Michael Shifrin of Northbrook, IL; cheating loser

The state of Illinois presented Michael Joseph Shifrin with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law.

FYI: Southern Illinois is ranked as the 166th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Disciplinary Commission found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Without authorization from his law firm, used the firm's computer system to change records pertaining to the origination of certain client accounts, which changes resulted in an advantage for himself and a loss to some of the other attorneys in his firm
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (September 2019), Mikey practices with Shifrin Legal Inc. at 3400 Dundee Road in Northbrook, Illinois.
