Attorney Edward Anania of Carmel, IN; lying slacker
The state of Indiana presented Edward A. Anania with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Indiana School of Law.
The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Eddie guilty of the following misconduct.

Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

Failed to keep a client reasonably informed about the status of a matter

Failed to respond to client information requests

Failed to protect client interests upon termination

Failed to return case file to client

Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation.

Engaging in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

Failed to file breach of contract claim on client’s behalf after receiving $5,000 retainer

Falsely told client that he did in fact file a complaint

Evaded client’s requests for a copy of the nonexistent complaint

Upon termination, failed to advise Client on any remaining deadlines for filing a complaint within the statute of limitations
As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of her law license.
As we speak (ca. August 2019), Eddie practices at 4630 Lisborn Drive in Carmel, Indiana.
