Attorney Christine Voelkel of Mandeville, LA; ethical goblin

The State of Louisiana presented Christine Y. Voelkel with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from the University of Louisiana School of Law.

The Louisiana Disciplinary Board found Iain guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in an inappropriate verbal exchange with opposing counsel in open court
• Improper use or mismanagement of client trust account
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Chrissy!)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Chrissy by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Chrissy practices with the Voelkel Law Firm LLC at 1217 Florida Street in Mandeville, Louisiana.
