Attorney Peter Lawson of Woodinville, WA; moronic slacker

The State of Washington presented Peter Carl Lawson with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Seattle University School of Law. 

The Washington State Bar found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to do so
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Pursued unmeritorious claims and made absurd contentions
• Failed to act fairly towards opposing party and counsel

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
