Attorney Daniel Orlikow of Winnipeg, CAN; ethical gremlin

The Law Society of Manitoba presented Daniel P. Orlikow with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Manitoba School of Law.

The Manitoba Barrister’s Society found Danny of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Raised his voice and spoke aggressively and rudely to his client re: family law matter
• Failed to confirm in writing instructions from client re: settlement of matter
• Failed to provide client with copy of his settlement offer prior to submission to opposing counsel
• Client did not understand specific terms that had been agreed to between Danny and opposing counsel

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand plus $2,500.00 in costs.

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Danny practices at 246 St. Anne’s Road in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
