Attorney Ethan Yang of Coon Rapids, MN; guilty of forgery

The state of Minnesota presented Ethan Seng-Su Yang with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Ethan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Forged signature of one party in a marital dissolution and that of her attorney
  • Obtained false notarizations
  • Knowingly submitted forged documents to trial court
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Ethan by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Minnesota are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Ethan was never criminally charged with forgery.

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Ethan practices in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
