Attorney J. Timothy Kaine of Roseville, MN; perjurer

The state of Minnesota presented J. Timothy Kaine with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Timmy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Conspired to alter trust documents for attorney friend John Benson that led to Benson defrauding Vivian Young, an elderly client out of $90,000
  • Conspired to fabricate false testimony on Benson’s behalf to conceal his fraudulent conduct
  • Accepted a $2,000 payment from Benson to falsely claim he had consulted with and provided legal advice
  • Voluntarily provided false testimony (perjury) on Benson’s behalf during an investigation of the fraud he perpetrated on Vivian Young

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Timmy by gifting him with a complimentary 5-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Minnesota are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Timmy was never criminally charged with perjury, attempted subornation of perjury and conspiracy to defraud Vivian Young.

As we speak (ca. September 2019), Timmy practices at 2233 North Hamline Avenue in Roseville, Minnesota.
