Attorney Stephen Barns of Granville, OH; moronic loser

The state of Ohio presented Stephen Wallace Barns with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from American University School of Law.

The Columbus Bar Association found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation [moron]
• Failed to advise clients he did not maintain malpractice insurance
• Entered into business transaction with client without advising the client to obtain independent legal advice
• Communicated subject of client representation with person he knew to represented by another lawyer
• Negotiated a stock-swap agreement with a terminated director knowing he was represented by counsel
• Entered into an agreement to become an employee of the company without advising his clients of the desirability of seeking the advice of
• independent counsel

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. July 2019), Stevie practices with the Law Office of Stephen W. Barns LLC at 181 Village Edge Drive in Granville, Ohio.
