Attorney Campbell Jackson of Seattle; slacker, loser

The state of Alaska presented Campbell Jackson with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Campbell guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Provided ineffective assistance to clients on two criminal appeals
  • Failed to comply with appellate court deadlines
  • Failed to file opening briefs that met appellate court criteria
  • Failed to seek permission to withdraw in accordance with appellate rules after he learned that a client allegedly wanted to end the representation
  • Conduct delayed appellate proceedings and threatened to deprive defendants of their rights to have their appeals heard
  • Failed to act with due diligence [slacker]

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Campbell by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2019), Campbell practices with the Law Office of Campbell Jackson at 318 31st Street in Seattle, Washington.
