Attorney Daniel Hunter of Monroe, LA; ethical gnome

The state of Louisiana presented Daniel J. Hunter with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Tulane University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Mismanaged client trust account
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 12-month suspension of his law license. 

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Danny.
