Attorney Anna Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA; cheating slacker

The state of Louisiana presented Anna M. Jackson with a law license in 1997 after she graduated from Louisiana State University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Anna guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Mishandled her uncle’s racial discrimination case
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Charged and/or collected an unreasonable fee [cheater]
  • Failed to reduce contingent fee contract to writing
  • Failed to respond to client update requests
  • Failed to advise clients as to whether she filed the suit or furthered their case in any other respect

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Anna by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Anna.

As we speak (ca. June 2019), Anna practices her brand of law at 11628 South Choctaw Drive in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
