Attorney Jane Stewart of Springfield, OR; ethical elf

The state of Oregon presented Jane B. Stewart with a law license in 1975 after she graduated from Willamette University School of Law.

The Oregon State Bar found Jane guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in negligent conduct
• Misconduct caused actual harm to client
• Failed to promptly deliver funds owing to a third party

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Jane by gifting her with a complimentary 1 -month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Jane practices in Springfield, Oregon.
