Attorney Robert Koenig of Denver; ethical gnome

The state of Colorado presented Robert Allen Koenig with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Colorado University School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly monitor and supervise underling attorneys
• Patty’s law office submitted an untruthful multijurisdictional law practice application
• His firm allowed non-licensed attorneys, including a suspended California attorney, to monitor the office’s trust account, including the untimely distribution of funds
• Employed associate attorneys who failed to comply with court orders in a litigation matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2019), Bobby practices with the Law Office of Koenig Associates at 44 Cook Street in Denver, Colorado.
