Attorney Richard Lawlor of Hartford, CT; ethical gremlin

The State of Connecticut presented Richard P. Lawlor with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

The Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel found Dick guilty of the engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to attend scheduled court hearing on client’s behalf
  • Failed to sufficiently communicate with client
  • Ordered to make restitution of $2,000 to client [victim]

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2019) Dick practices at 941 Wethersfield Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut.
