Attorney Michael Fortner of Farmington Hills, MI; slacker, loser

The state of Michigan presented Michael H. Fortner with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Michigan State University School of Law.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #63 found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to seek lawful client objectives
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Knowingly disobeyed a court order or rule of a tribunal (Screw you, said Mikey!)
• Failed to make reasonably diligent efforts to comply with a legally proper discovery request by an opposing party
• Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand, ordered to pay $650 in restitution to a client [victim] and assessed $784.20 in costs.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Mikey practices with Spectrum Legal Services at 31731 Northwestern Highway in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
